Идея представляемого рисунка подсказана ландшафтной и исторической средой в горах Дагестана. Участок гостиницы расположен вблизи села Гергебиль на высоком и живописном скалистом выступе садовой террасы над рекой Казикумухское Койсу. С него открывается красивые панорамы окружающей местности, соседних исторических селений, террасных садов и полей. Рисунок «родился» входе многочисленных проектных эскизов, вызванных желанием вписать проект в ландшафтную среду, понять и подхватить «движения» и характер природных масс, продолжая их в архитектурных формах. Вместе с этим, учитывая близкое соседство традиционных аулов с исторической застройкой, рисунок отражает желание автора найти связь с местной архитектурной традицией – это отражено в ступенчатом построении композиции, использовании народных архитектурных форм и элементов. В сумме это призвано сообщить местных колорит и органично вписать гостиницу в природный контекст. Эти ключевые позиции рисунка вошли в окончательный проект.

The idea of the picture is prompted by the landscape and historical environment in the mountains of Dagestan. The hotel plot is located near the village of Gergebil on a high and picturesque rocky ledge garden terrace over the river Kazikumukhskoe Koysu. It offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, neighbouring historic villages, terraced gardens and fields. Figure " born "in the course of numerous design sketches caused by the desire to enter the project into the landscape environment, to understand and pick up the" movement " and the nature of the masses, continuing them in architectural forms. At the same time, taking into account the close proximity of traditional auls with historical buildings, the figure reflects the authors desire to find a connection with the local architectural tradition – this is reflected in the step-by-step construction of the composition, the use of folk architectural forms and elements. In sum, it is designed to inform the local flavor and organically enter the hotel into the natural context. These key points of the figure are included in the final draft.
