The idea behind this project for a new bar-restaurant is to create a unique space of immateriality, making light a sensual and extraordinary experience. My first thought was that a roof top bar has to be visible from far, both from the streets and the surrounding buildings. In fact I decide to play with lights, chandeliers and bright effects more than materials. I would like to create illusionist spatial situations using light. Actually light can have an unexpected softness or it can be very sharp. Since this new place is supposed to became a new landmark in the city, I believe that this cafe-restaurant ( which works mostly at night ) must be visible from far. The light effects and the darkness on the rooftop should generate curiosity on the people. Indeed the experience of looking at the rooftop from the streets can create potential clients. Some more that light experience will be an extraordinary adventure for the actual clients when they are eating at the restaurant or having a cocktail at the bar counter.
