Perspective view from Via Cavour towards Via dei Fori Imperiali in Rome showing a new museum of sculpture that also forms an entrance and an edge between the City and the archaeological park that contains Imperial Roman Fora. “Entrance to a Museum - Via dei Fori Imperiali”: The image is drawn from plans and sections for a theoretical project I made when I lived in Rome. It builds on top of an existing archaeological site which is definitely not possible to do right now. It creates a wall that you pass through from the modern day present to a different time-the Rome of the time of the classical sculptors and architects. It is on the same site that Giuseppe Terragni designed the “Danteum” and the “Palazzo Littorio” on the Via dei Fori Imperiali - both theoretical projects. The project creates more definition between the city and the archaeological park, which doesn’t exist right now, and stands for the imagination we need to empathize with another time, another place"
