Gilda Convertino is an Italian born architect, specialized in public space and urban landscape, working with a human centered approach. She is particularly interested in the contribution of public space to local communities and at the higher scale level, how this fits into city regeneration processes. Graduated in Architecture with full marks at University of Florence, she also studied at Technische Universität Berlin and trained in a cross cultural context between Germany, Italy and Spain. Interested to investigate the contemporary relationship between built environment and peoples quality of life, she founded URBANGLITCH, a research project about cities and society.
